BugMaster Gets In The Holiday Spirit
Posted December 11, 2013
The BugMaster crew was happy to get out and do something that makes a difference for the community. They spent the one day decorating the Child Advocacy Center of Mobile‘s building and then took time out of their night to do some shopping for The Great Toy Drive with friends from WKRG News 5.
The Child Advocacy Center of Mobile provides a wide range of services in one central location to sexually abused and/or severely physically abused children and their non-offending family members so that they may begin their healing process, and to provide education and training in order to increase the public awareness of child abuse which will aid in the prevention of child abuse.
The Great Toy Drive is put on each year by local WKRG News 5 and local sponsors. BugMaster is happy to be a sponsor each year and this year in addition to that they were able to spend $3,000 on Christmas toys for the drive. Businesses, people and anyone who is willing come to WKRG or drop off toys at any of the sponsors. The toys are then distributed through the Salvation Army to individual families and other charitable organizations in the area.
With so much going on in these children’s lives already, it is important to let them still have an enjoyable Christmas experience. BugMaster realizes the need for the CAC is this area and the importance of these children having a Merry Christmas. BugMaster also works with the center year round to raise money for the different operations and costs the center may have.
If you would like to help, please donate to the Child Advocacy Center here or drop off toys at any BugMaster location or WKRG for The Great Toy Drive.
